This Forbidden Love

by Steelfire   Apr 5, 2006

Miles apart
Days away
You're in my thoughts
Every day

The only thing that keeps me from you
is knowing this wish will never come true
Youre not a made up fantasy
This isn't a fictional fairy tale
But the emotions are almost ecstasy
when I see the darkness in eyes so pale

How can I forget this love
when I know I can't keep fighting you
You're like an angel from above
With a heart that's made to look so true

It's not right
But what can I do
Cry until the dead of night
when I'm lulled to sleep by thoughts of you

Incandescently happy at the very sight of you
Every time I get that chance, this forbidden love only renews
Tortured by the words you say
Knowing it's not right
I can't ignore this on any day
I can't keep laying here, praying all night

I pray for luck
I wish for lust
I need your love
I want your trust

Can't you see what's happening
I'll think about you every night
Knowing it'll never be
Yet I won't forget the forbidden love
That could never be considered right
