You took it away

by geraldine   Apr 6, 2006

The scene of the crime,
where the blood is spread across the walls,

I wasn't meant to see,
For the rest of my life, this image will be haunting me.

In a pool of blood,
It's there in front of me, like coloured red flood.

Your body on the floor, how could it be you,
I never knew you to be the one to do.

Local newspapers read;
"Teen depression ends in tears"
Burn, I say burn, it's all lies,
This will haunt us for the rest of our years

This time, just one year ago,
You made a choice, take me as a foe,
You took your life away,
And now I say goodbye,
Forever here I shall lay.
