Caged

by CrysluvsBowie   Apr 6, 2006

As i stare through the bars,
i look into the outside world.
The world i lived in long ago,
When reality used to surround me.
Now i'm caged and forgotten,
In fraitality and lost in dreams.
These tears trickle down my cheeks,
Slide onto the bars abd water the ground.
Nightmares visit me every night,
As monster's haunt me by day.
The memories,
The words.
Their claws rest on my vacant chest.
My heart still beats on.
How much longer will i wait for life to end?!
Constant screams echoing in my head.
My hands pleading through the cracks in the bars.
Held down by the thick metal chains,
And the treterous whips of time.
My eyes stare out into reality,
through my barred cage.
