Bloom

by The Black Angel Lloyd Rose   Apr 7, 2006

From the ground rich beneath,
The gift of life earth doth bequeath,
Vibrant crimson; blood red silk,
Opening to the dawn light,
Veiled with the coolness of the morning dew,
A single rose awaking in bloom,
Only to wilt and fall to its tomb.
