Memories

I sit here thinking
on this ever long road
wondering why these memories
have begun to erode

memories of joy
memories of sorrow
memories of yesterday
of tommorow

everything is glass
all so clear and smooth
but even the smallest bump
can ruin the mood

as the gas gauge falls
each inch at a time
i think of all the memories
u use to sign

we were together so long
both of us one
now monthes later
that one is done

Ive given up
any hope of us
each of our memories
have begun to rust
