Wisdom of a Tree(Rhyme Royal)

by PS   Apr 9, 2006

If stories could be told by the trees of
what would they tell us? lovers? wars? great men?
hidden deep kisses only leaves may see?
immortal marks on skin left way back when?
a young boy left love for war way back then?
great leaders tell tales of the great young dead?
This is what the aged doleful trees have said.

I realy like this, what with being a country boy, trees hold a certain quality for me, they are something of great repect, power and might, however fallen as well; they are magnificent, i like to refer to them where i can.

yes, this is a lovely rhyme royal, well done!
