A Shadowed Soul

by The Black Angel Lloyd Rose   Apr 9, 2006

Shadows watching your every move,
Fear them not for they cause you no pain, only soothe.
The shadows are me, and then again they are not,
They are my watchers, guarding my friends,
They keep them from all tragic ends.
For they send for me when a friend is down,
In the end, only the sorrows will drown.
The shadows still lurk amidst the dark,
To my friends, the angel, to my enemies, the shark.
I care not, for my shadows are there,
Sending those dear my thoughts of care.
Few have seen my shadows alive,
Glance upon them, and into the darkness they dive.
I am the angel of the shadows, live not in fear,
Rest your heads and know that I am always here.
Few know of my shadows, few know the real me,
Maybe one day, they all shall see.
I care not for myself, for I care for thee.
Give up my life and give you my soul,
All my dark thoughts, never to take control.
I show my enemies my darkened heart,
Only to leave them with no place to start.
I show my friends, only a few,
That our enemies, my shadows pursue.
Shadow remaining away from the light,
If anyone means harm, only then will they fight.
