Honeycomb dream

by Christine   Apr 9, 2006

You're the honeycomb child
In a magical world
I looked in your beautiful
Deep amber eyes
And said take me away
To the honeycomb land
I gave you my hand
And you showed me the way
To the honeycomb dream
Together we climb
Through burnished walls
And endless tunnels
Of golden light
Pure delight
Chasing memories
Following dreams
Forgotten friends
And lost toys
Here were find
Our greatest joys
We peer through the holes
And watch velvet skies
Where the stars shoot past
And the rainbows shine
We follow the sounds
Of melodies sweet
That wind through
Our hazy minds
You're the honeycomb child
In a honeycomb world
So take me away
To the honeycomb dream
It's the place away
From all our fears
Where the golden light
Shines away
Banishing shadows
And love remains
Where stories are true
And hope still lives
And the skies
Still have horizons
