Final Farewell

Still here in pain,
You have left me.
You're not coming back,
Even though you're at ease.

What am I waiting for?
I can't help but want you back.
We were going to make it through,
But was it bravery you lacked?

I was there for your tears,
I was there for your pain,
It was me crying with you,
It was me who sat with you in the falling rain.

But you decided to take the ''easy'' way out,
So I'm here without you
You grabbed your wings early,
And away you flew.

So there's one thing I didn't get to say,
I'm not going to ask; I know why,
But I love you and you're my best friend,
And I wanted to say good-bye.
