When You Left

Our life we look back on and we start to think,
How fast time goes by, goes by in a blink,

The pictures we've taken, the memories we've shared,
We've grown together, loved and cared,

I knew in my heart we'd be friends forever,
But we drifted apart, like we said we'd never,

You moved away to somewhere far,
Inside our hearts, you left a scar,

We hugged and wept as we said goodbye,
Then we looked at each other, and continued to cry,

She left us there all alone and in tears,
This was the greatest of all our fears,

One of our four left us as three,
Its just not the same, not the same to me,

She needs to come back to Murrieta Valley,
She shouldn't live in the Dakota's, at heart she's a Cali,

She's still in our hearts, we'll always be friends,
Friends we'll always be, until this life ends
