Theres no turning back

by Fallen~Tears   Apr 11, 2006

Ever since you left me here all alone
ive been trying to find the strength to make it on my own

You swore you'd never leave, here is where you'd stay
but something went wrong, as i wiped your tears away

Everything i said earlier i never really meant
but that is the price i will have to pay... always living with the torment

"I hate you" is what i yelled as you shut the door
i was just frustrated i never imagined the next time i saw you you'd be lying on the floor

you were found with a note saying " with out your love i'd die"
i never meant for this to be our good- bye

So as i kneel beside you and pick up your gun
I have to fix the things ive left undone

Hopefully once i find you up above
I can tell you how you were the one i'd always love

Theres no turning back now as i put the gun to my head
Because with out your love also.. i was dead..

I think this poem's good, though I kind of expected it to be sadder, because of what it says. It's about death, love, suicide, and hate, and I think you could improve it by describing the strong emotions of the situation. I liked it the way it is, so if you don't want to change anything, it's alright.

    Good job!

I love it though, it's written really well and flows great. It's a sad topic but it just works well.
