Modern Day Romeo and Juliet

by Olivia   Apr 11, 2006

He was popular, and she was a geek.
For his love is what she wanted to seek.
Every time they'd talk they would get queasy inside.
But since they were of two different crowds he'd pushed her aside.
Each and every time she thought it was her fault.
Every time she thought of him her heart felt as if it would come to a halt.
One time he didn't think, and pushed her over her lines.
From then on out he didn't see the signs.
Until one day when she had ran home to cry.
He didn't know it was her day to die.
She cut her wrists as deep as she could.
He was on his way to apologize, as he thought he should.
Once he got there what his eyes beheld he knew exactly why.
Now it's his turn to die.
He ran home, got his dads gun, goes back and shot himself in the head.
His body lands next to hers on the bed.
Eternal life together, nobody to tell them otherwise.
No more acting, no more lies.
Their depression had set.
Todays, Romeo, and Juliet.
