I Still Care

I wanted to be over you,
but life's just not that fair,
I tried to force myself away
it's hard 'cause i still care.

I miss you so much
you will never fully know,
how many tears and sleepless nights,
never thought I'd get this low.

I see you every day
and my heart still skips a beat
I get hot, then very cold,
but my heart won't claim defeat!

Now I'm lying on my bed
and like always, thinking of you.
I smile and cry at the memories of us,
having you with me and holding me too.
