Feeling numb

Falling to the floor
Sliding down my face
Catching on my lips
I need out of this place

Tears come by bucket load
Each and every day
Soon i can leave and go home
In my final resting place i shall lay

Sighing with a sorrow
Crying with a fear
What if the world knew me
What if one day they hear

Closing my door
Retreating into my room
Further into the darkness
Further into the gloom

Aching deep inside
hiding it from those near
Locking my mouth to the truth
Saving those i hold close and dear

Trying to make right of my wrong
Trying to find answers deep inside
But those that matter would be hurt
I cant find anyone to confide

Its not a specific problem
its life and the general things
Its problems that mean nothing to u
But to me sadness it always brings

So bite my lip
hold my tongue
close my eyes
feeling numb
