My dream

I watch you from afar,
But it is just a dream.
Because to you,
I don't mean a thing.
In search of a mate,
I bide my time.
But your always there,
In the back of my mind.
I want to get closer,
But your out of my reach.
A warning telling me,
Your out of my league.
So I'll watch from afar,
And you will just be a dream.
Because to you,
I'll never mean a thing.
