My Guardian Angel

by Pain Remains   Apr 18, 2006

Dad you are my angel,
You're my bright shooting star,
When i think of the love we share,
We are no longer worlds apart,

When God came to creating you,
A mould he did not use,
He just filled your soul with love and care,
And knew you were a Hughes,

He made a man so brilliant,
So high above the rest,
That your family are only proud to know,
They have truly loved the best,

So until the day we meet again,
And our lives have become one,
The love we share will never die,
In my heart your soul lives on.
