For Once in My Shoes

by Poetical Princess   Apr 18, 2006

For once, put yourself in my shoes,
See what it feels like after the choices I choose.

Know what its like to keep to only you,
Realize how you feel when your ignored, not amused.

Right, see what I mean when this feeling hits your soul?
You start to think no one will give a hand to hold,
That's the thought that your mind unfolds.

It's like your not even visible, and your paid no mind,
If for me they have time, then my signature I'll sign.

For once, put yourself in my shoes,
and see what's REALLY going on, there's nothing fun being quiet, can't you see the picture being drawn?

Think of how YOU would be, if you never chose to express,
You'll find yourself where I am, struggling with this test.

You think to yourself all through the day,
about the words you never open your mouth to say.

If you were once in my shoes, you'd think of how many times, you would have been having fun, not going out of your mind.

If you were once in my shoes, you would then understand, you would finally get your answer, and feel the breeze from a fan.
If you were once in my shoes, you'll think of me differently,
You'll change the way you see me
and respect my being.

For once, put yourself in my shoes, and see how it all feels,
See the way that I deal, see that I'm trying to be real.

I thought it was a really good poem, with a great meaning to it. I thought it seemed angry, and desperate, like you need someone to just understand you, and to realise what it is that your going through.

    Good job
