The loss of a friend
it hurts
you want to scream and cry
at the same time
you can't understand
how they could do this to you
you cared for them
and held them when they cried
so you cry
you sink into a hole
deep and dark
you start to think
was the friendship real
did they really care about you
you stop your mind
and become cold to the world
you try and get out
but rumors are started
you know they aren't true
but what does that matter
no one else does
you try and stay out of the hole
but it doesn't matter
it gets worse and worse
you hit rock bottom
people try to pick you up
but you fall down
never to get up again
