How Many

by Poetical Princess   Apr 18, 2006

As I sit here and think of all the things I can think,
I wonder how much good I have done, how many times I have winked.

How many people I have hurt,
how many pants how many shirts-
I have worn,
how many babies were born,
how many lives were torn-
by the way they were treated,
that made them feel so defeated.

How many times have been shared, with others of whom no one care-
who made them feel so bare.

How many times I made people laugh, I don't think I can do the math.

How many hearts I have warmed,
to help them get through their
storm.

How many times I have given,
to those whose hearts I have knitten.

How many feelings have I shot,
broke their hearts-made them rot.

How many things I have taken,
"Oh, I don't know",
please stop faking.

How many times have I prayed,
to not slip away and fade.

How many times have I thought of others, we got to love one another.

How many times have you've looked back on your life,
and know in the future you'll do right.

How many times will you read this and be inspired to accomplish?

Ask yourself, "How many things have I done to please my God of all things, how many people I have taught the true reason to sing."

As I sat here and thought all the things that I could,
I dare you to do the same,
go ahead I wish someone would.
