Love is pain,
yet pain is sorrow,
and sorrow is sweet.
Sweet is the love we once shared
But it was just as painful
and this pain filled me with sorrow
yet this sorrow was sweet.
So is pain sweet and love and sorrow?
Or is sorrow pain and love sweet?
This enigma is a circle
beginning with love,
passing through pain and sorrow,
but it saves the sweetness
to begin with love all over again.
And this circle is unending
or can it end if we never love?
For without love, there cannot be pain,
without pain, there is no sorrow,
and without knowing the bitterness of sorrow,
can we still know a sweet?
