I don't know where to begin
The days have been filled with pain and sorrow
since I lost him, my dear friend
one year will have passed on the morrow
our time together was short but sweet
he became a part of my life I held dear
beginning the very day we did meet
This is feeling way too hard, I wish he was here
But the pain he felt within
was too much for him to bear
so he took it upon himself to commit his final sin
so now every night for him, I say a prayer
Dear lord thou art in heaven
please listen to my cry
I've lost someone I held dear
he chose to die
I'm not sure I can make it without him here
so now I beg of thee lord
Hold him close in your forgiving arms
another broken heart I cannot afford
if for a moment I thought he was harmed
Be the friend I cannot be
now that he's so far from my reach
Show him love, my dearest friend.
