Crying Is My Lullaby

by Kelly   Apr 18, 2006

Too many questions with answers unknown,
Hearts being broken, they cannot be sewn.

Minds carry memories we wish could be erased,
Hearts are recycled without being replaced.

Death has a face with a look that could kill,
This is what I've become, my pain is your thrill.

Pain is a disease with an unknown cure,
Memories from childhood are a colorless blur.

Tears are just words that the heart cannot say,
So many things gone wrong with a price to pay.

Clouded visions, not knowing what's right,
Perfection becomes a dream, no longer in sight.

Hearts being twisted, minds drowning in thoughts,
Covering feelings with smiles, a battle being fought.

Hidden secrets behind shadowy eyes,
These truths being said are nothing but lies.

Razorblades sink, cuts are way too deep,
Crying is my lullaby, the only thing that puts me to sleep.

"I love you", was all that was said,
Those last three words, and I am dead.
