Escape of Entrapment

by Anna   Apr 19, 2006

Go, Go, Go
Hours past as the sun sets from the deep blue sky
Where\'s the stop? There is none...
Where\'s the time? Flies away...
Surrounded by buildings like a cage, entrapping your view of the outside
This is where you belong
Day after day, night past night
The crash of overwhelmed stress pulling you away from this imprisonment
Yet the frustration of responsibility drives you insane
BILLS, BILLS, BILLS
PAY, PAY, PAY
One button pushes you back from where you began
The need of rush, the need of work temps you to leave everything behind
It is what you must do to secure the family financially
That is your life, your fulfillment
To see your family living well and safe
Yet you are powerless on your true want and need of fulfillment
Single unexpected news destroys the road you\'ve been walking on
Did you ever take the time to notice that there\'s also another road on the other side?
Opportunity for new discoveries
Escape from the entrapment you\'ve built for yourself
Close your eyes and let yourself escape
Feel the sense of nature again
Not forever, but every second is priceless
Feel the freedom on the other side of your cage
Live life slowly and see what you\'ve yet to witness
Fill in the missing puzzles in your life
Look back and be proud of what you made
Smile because you are proud of what you have
To build the picture worth a thousand words needs lots of ingredients
Love creates memories
Laughter creates indescribable colours
Life itself will draw the most gratifying picture any human can make
Draw that picture slowly with every breath you take
Nothing can remain forever because life is short
However, every picture you paint will be remembered forever
