Happiness of Pain

by Anna   Apr 19, 2006

My heart feels like its being cut through with a blade
Dark red blood rolling down
Every drop is unbearable pain
Needles streaking my heart now
As if it's raining a thunder storm
Tears fell from my eyes, I close them tightly
My body froze as if to ease the pain
My breath quickens, taking in air as much as I could
I felt my hand on my heart, fisting my cloth that is on top
Ridiculously, I can still spread a smile across my face
If I didn't love you, I wouldn't feel pain
If I didn't love you, I would be painless
If I didn't love you, then what would be pain?
I love you for the pain of happiness
For there is no love that is painless
I would not close my heart because of pain
I bear it, as it teach me to love you more and more each day
