Friendship lost

by Soria   Apr 20, 2006

You once meant the world to me and honestly you still do
But youâ??ve forsaken what we had and everything weâ??ve been through
Constantly youâ??ve been on my mind just because this loss haunts me
Everyday Iâ??m reminded of the friendship that used to be
Youâ??re in my heart yet Iâ??m forgotten in yours
Youâ??ve closed your heart, ears, and lips to me and behind you all the doors
We had a friendship that could rival any other
To me, you were so much more than a friend and so much more than a brother
I love you now, forever, and always because of memories of us plague me
They corrupt me and blind me as I canâ??t release what used to be
Forever I will miss what we had together
Forever I will remember we were once best friends now severed
You have my heart and my friendship at a cost
Maybe itâ??s at the cost of a friendship lost
