Only Friends =(

So i want you to know

that today i\'ve been smiling

and its not just a show

because of you i can laugh

for awhile you made me cry

even when i wanted to laugh

i would ask myself why do i try

that was the burning question for awhile

lately things have been bad

but to me its my fault

it got old being sad

so i\'m sorry for this madness

i\'ve come to realize

that me and you can just be friends

i was so close to saying my goodbyes

but it would be to hard to do

i\'m glad we can talk

and i\'m glad we can smile

when we walk

i know we\'ll be friends for awhile
