I Am Not Myself

A sorrowful scream from me,
has now set a demon free.
He is waiting to take my soul,
death fills this empty hole.

Evil has taken over my mind,
it has left my judgment blind.
The bright light I see no more,
hate left with a settling score.

Suffering is all that will rise,
all good has met it's demise.
Sinful acts of anger and hate,
leave bodies at heaven's gate.

My eyes are shallow lit by fire,
aura filled with darkest desire.
Hatred can you hear my voice?
now sing your songs of rejoice.

The hour has come and gone,
blood red skies signal dawn.
Demons hunting now finished,
my soul will slowly diminish.

I am not who I am anymore,
it will never be like it was before.
The darkness showed me fate,
I'm sorry, now it's just too late.

    Just amazing. Especially that stanza.

    I think you mean 'my' there sweet heart.
    This is a really excellent poem. You're a great writer. I'm not sure what to say; it was just an amazing job.
