Untitled

The glint of the light on the blade
Sends shivers down my spine
The anticipation of pain and release
the excitements all mine

soft white skin
volnerable and unprotected
the cold blade touches
breaking the surface

the sting of pain
the beads of
slowly draining the sorrows
that have been hidden

again
blade to skin
making it deeper
further in

the flows
taking the pain
leaving me feeling
clean

again and again
even though
i know i should stop

this "addiction"
has infact
taken hold and wont let go

i need to stop
before the darkness
closes in

i wish i could have told you how i felt
instead of dealing with it in
this awful way

if only you had known
how much i loved you
before i died
and was gone for good
