Twas The Night

by Jenny   Apr 23, 2006

Twas the night before Christmas
and all through my head
wishes and dreams came
of me to be dead

My stocking wasn't hung
by a chimney with care
my heart instead
just dangled there

No cookies or cake
just cuts an scars
no presents and laughter
just hidden behind bars

No running and shouting
saying "look what i got"
all alone in my room
my heart feels a shot

Collapse on the floor
with tears in my eyes
so sorry Christmas was the day
that i say my goodbyes

Wow. I'm speechless. That was amazing. Everything flowed very well. Nice job.
