This thing called life..*

I look around.
and what do i see
i see darkness
a death filled sea

i see it standing there
looking down at me
with that evil stare

the ground so dry
the land so bare
it sees my soul
eyes so dark and that evil glare

my head hangs low
and with one hard blow
i fall to the ground
it kicks me hard when I fall down

my blood is dripping
my soul is slipping
unwilling to stop
but i wouldn't give it up
i fought and fought

my soul is mine
and mine to keep
no matter how much it hurts
or how many tears i weep

this being, this thing.
that caused me so much pain
and so much strife.
this evil thing called life.

my soul so empty
my eyes so blurry
my soul so broken
save me, hurry hurry.

my tears i still cry
hiding all the pain and all the lies
but no one will ever realize
the hurtful things its done to me
this hurtful thing called life.
