Pressure for Perfection

by *Cosmic*Whispers*   Apr 24, 2006

Why wont anyone tell
The broken girl inside
That she has no need to worry
About the flaws she has to hide

Why can't he say she's perfect
Perfect body, Perfect skin
That the scars she bears don't matter
Her beauty glows from deep within

And her enchanting smile
Has ensnared a thousand hearts
But it is he who truly loves her
And he has done from the start

But instead he walks right past her
Lying defeated on the ground
Blood drips from her slender wrist
As the world spins faster round

Organs collapsing on there selves
The monsters turn her to the knife
Pressure for Perfection
The sickness that will claim her life
