September 11th

by Blah.   Apr 24, 2006

Our minds refused to conceive, our eyes refused to believe tragedy had struck our nation.
As our hearts began to break and people saw what hate and evil can truly breed.
The will never forget that day, the day so many innocent people died, or that day, the day our great nation cried.
We will never forget where we were or what we were doing on that day, the day that terrorism struck the USA.
As our grief turned to anger, our eyes swelled from tears, Our demand for justice must prevail, no matter the years.
We're sad and hurt about the innocent that died. we're angry and disgusted that the coward still hides.
We watched with horror as our people fell, two buildings left in ruins, why?
Please someone tell.
As our nation cries, the support rolls in, from far away and from within.
Now our nation moves forward and yes, freedom rings true. Watch out Bin Laden, we're not through with you.
It's not just Americans you hurt that day, people from other nations also had to pay.
You tried to hurt us and with that you succeeded, but rest assure that Freedom will never be defeated.
