Welcoming Starvation

by ♥ no_one_knows ♥   Apr 24, 2006

A fragile body and a tattered soul,
food untouched in plate or bowl.
Sunken eyes glazed over from restless nights,
Once glowing skin now ghostly white.
Slowly dying, now weak and frail,
Barely alive, now weightless and pale.
Self-destruction in the slowest way,
Away from food she wills ehrself to stay.
Denial of huner, welcoming starvation,
Ache in stomach and heart, constant frusteration.
