Mourning Star

by Sandie   Apr 24, 2006

I see you staring back at me
I wonder what on earth you see
Do you see pain or misery?
Everytime you look at me?

What the hell is she looking at?
She says she's this and says she's that
She don't know me that's a fact.
Everything I once knew now is black

I like the feel of a summers breeze
I like to fly soar and be free
The only thing I don't like is me
I like the feel of a summers breeze

Society tells me to be someone else
Then tells me to be me
Society looks down and laughs at me
Then tells me not to care what anyone thinks

It's not easy, actually it's hard
Here I sit a mourning star
Good things I cannot reach
They are too far for me to see

I love you for who you are
No matter about anyone
But still here I sit a mourning star.
