I see your face... gone

by Ripple   Apr 26, 2006

Listen to the love songs
So tired and slow
Watch the clouds form
Mystery of a rainbow
I can see you face
But not for too long
As you are a memory
But not forgotten
I see you over my shoulder
Crying in the rain
Pure silver tears
Of your golden pain
I see you in the water
In the shimmery ice
Your face so pale
This picture i hold tight
I feel your breath quicken
As you grab my hand
Looking for my eyes
But falling at the last stand
I see you like the rainbow
As the colours of the sky
My mystery piece of the puzzle
To make me complete tonight
Your face shakes
When the stone hits the water
Moves you out of place
For a little more torture
I search for your face
Once again its lost
This picture in my hand
You will never be forgot
I run my finger
Over your smiling face
Wishing it was still like that
Instead of the cruel fate
I smile softly
Then let out a sigh
As a tear runs down my cheek
Every single night
Your with me in the rain
As i look deep into your flickering eyes
You look tired of this
Turn the life support off tonight
I whisper in your ear
You will always be in my heart
I'll never forget your presence
I guess hear your dreams will start
As you loose your grip
And your head falls to one side
A drop of golden pain
As i let out a sigh
I kiss your forehead
And grasp your cold hand
I then new you was okay
I finally understand
The cold sheet covers you
A figure beneath
I'll see you again one day
As we will both be six feet underneath
Wait for me in heaven
At those golden gates
I'll see you again
Maybe just one day
