Can you feel my heart pace?

Can you feel my heart pace
Through the white sheet
Stained by tears
Of my bloody feet
Yes I'll cry at night
Wishing i had gone
But to have left
would be the saddest of songs
To realize what i have now
That i would of given up
Would of been my biggest mistake
I took it too rough
Accepting the past
And to hold your head high
While feeling of sorrow
And dying inside
Waring a fake smile
To write a song
To forget the pace
Of this place i don't belong
I may not belong
Or feel happy inside
But maybe i can get through it
And come out the other side
As i feel the sharp stones
Cut open my feet
As i run away from pain
On my empty street
Can you feel my heart pace
As i try to explain my words
Not tripping up on lies
Of this world that seems cursed
My eyes they flicker
In a sorrow of pain
As i wake up in the morning thinking...
I'm here once again
Can you feel my heart pace
Reach its full potential
See my eyes glaze
As the past is sentimental
I'll sit in the blur
And focus on my life
How selfish am i
To think that to night
I'll hold my head up high
And forget the fallen crown
I'll live as if no one is home
In a hope to end up in the lost and found
Can you hear my heart pace?
No? because its gone
I've flat lined
To this sad forgotten song
