Acceptance of Your Presence

There were times I doubted you, Lord, and times I didn't believe
Because of all the hate, fear, and sadness flowing in and out of me
Everything I was going through, I always blamed it on you
Never stopping to think that in those times of darkness, you were the light trying to shine through
But one day I finally realized that you were just trying to help me, help me through it all
And when I truly felt your presence, I wasn't able to do anything but bawl
It's because you touched me, Lord, touched my heart and my soul
You were the last piece I was missing to complete me and make me whole
And now, I no longer doubt the wonders of your love
Because I've finally accepted your many blessings from above
