Daddy

by jossy   Feb 8, 2004

I'm all grown up now daddy,
I'm not your little megwa no more,
can't get on your shoulders and rub your ears,
I'm ready for what life has in store,

Although we've had our tough times,
we always make it through,
no matter what life throws at us,
our family sticks like glue,

I try my best to make you proud,
not only because that's what i should do,
but because I'm your daughter,
and because i really want too,

I know as i get older,
we seem to drift apart,
but that is not reality,
you'll always have my heart,

You'll always be my daddy,
you'll always be my friend,
through anything and everything,
I'll love you to the end.
