How Hard it is to say Goodbye

Tears cannot convey the pain of saying goodbye.
It may only be for a few months
but it seems like a lifetime.
I can't share with you the things I've done,
nor can you share with me the things you've done.
Sending and receiving letters to convey how much we miss each other.
Phone calls convey how much we need to talk
but it's not enough.
I need to hug you and tell you in person how hard it is to say goodbye.
I know it's not in person but you are reading this
