Cheatin Heart

by Tonya   Apr 29, 2006

You loved me once upon a time,
Before your love was a crime,
Your Cheatin heart has ruined a love,
That felt as if it was from heaven above,
A love that flourished and grew,
Is now less meaningful then a worn-out-shoe,
A love that was filled with trust
compassion,
Turned into a need of lust and passion,
Your cheatin heart loved another,
And made me feel like I should die,
For I gave you my heart with trust,
But you put it out,
To get it tattered and covered with dust,
Though I know I will someday,
Meet someone new, I will never forget you,
Your cheating heart has hurt me to many times
so now I must move one and let your
Cheating heart go.
