About a boy

by Jessica Moreno   Apr 29, 2006

This poem is about a boy whose name, I cannot say.
The reason why you ask
Is because it might send him astray.

I've liked this boy for quit a while,
I like his hair.
I like his smile.

He seems so innocent , so meek
but that all changes
as soon as you hear him speak.

He's vulgar and puts up a front.
The truth he tells
is extremely blunt.

His feelings he likes to hide
All bottled up
Deep inside

He takes refuge behind a mask...
A disguise.
But you can see the truth,
when you look deep into his eyes.

You can see the hurt that he carries,
the feelings that he buries.

He's been through a lot of sh**
and only a person as strong as him
could deal with it.

I admire and adore him
I'll always be there for him

He's been a good friend
& we have a bond that will never end.
