Light!

When the sky turns a dark dark black,
don't give in and turn back.

When the rain falls o-so-hard,
don't give up and let down your guard.

When things just don't seem to go your way,
Don't let go and just walk away.

And when the competition,
starts to get rough.
You gotta stay in there, and show them your tough.

When you get down just look for the light.
It will guide you, and you'll be alright.

I know how you feel i was in the same spot.
Feeling all bad, cause i wasn't on top.

For me it felt like I would never find my light,
I cried countless days and endless nights.

But I kept my faith
and stood my ground.
I kept in my hate,
and tried not to break down.

and as i waited I found my light.
We feel in love at first sight.

Stayed up all night,
on the phone.
Now because of him,
I am not alone.

So i guess what I'm trying to say
is that it may take more than a few days.
There will be long hours
and endless nights.
but don't you worry,
you too,
will find you light!
