But it was the wrong address you wrote down
After a couple weeks it was sent back to you

So I pulled out a Christmas stocking
It made me chuckle since Christmas was long gone

Then I pulled out the munchies
The Vegemite didn’t go over so well
I didn’t read your note on what to do with it
And was disgusted by the taste and smell

The tim-tams were the best thing ever
I had three that day and already wanted more
I stingily let my family try some

Then pulled out the make-up
Oh you know your baby sis loves to paint her face
Let me tell you the lipsticks are already gone
The eye shadow and bronze was on my pillowcase

The Australian key chains that you sent
Told me just how well you knew me
I have a huge collection of key chains
And now two that were from special Rissy

The box of dream cards made me smile
For you were right, we always talk about dreams
The stickers were just the cutest as well
It described my family and our self-esteem

Then when I held the photo of you in my hand
Tears splashed on it as I dried my eyes
It was like you were really there with me
Although you were oceans away and miles in the skies

Those gifts meant the world to me as well
You cleared up any pain or strife
But see the greatest gift I believe
