The race of life

by george   May 2, 2006

The life we live is like a race. we must run it at a steady pace. if we start too fast, we will quickly tire, our body will feel like it's on fire.but if we pace ourselves while we run the race. we will have a peace if we seek his face.we will sometimes hit slick spots and trip and fall but we must get back up and answer his call.we will have obstacles and prices to pay but we be alright if we keep going and pray. in the race of life it is how you run that counts not if you lose or win cause in the race of life, you will not win if you don't begin. you can take short cuts and run off course. you can try to do on your own by using some force.you can run over other people and do anything to get ahead. why don't you keep your eyes on him instead. you can take your own path and do what you can to cheat but if it is all about you and no one else you will fall to defeat. if you make mistakes just get back on track, there is no need to plead your case. just pick yourself up and stand up tall and go and finish the race.

This poem is very very nice. But it would be better if you would divide up the paragraph into stanzas. It would make it a more easier read.
