Hypnotizing Obsession

by Saeki Toru   May 2, 2006

Elegant flames dance
Living to entertain me.
For I am its creator,
I am the first thing it sees.
I am its master, its lord, its Supreme.

On days like this, where I do my job,
My ambitions take my place, freezing me solid.
The flames I create shall consume things,
And destroy those of which
Are unecessary belongings.

My flame pursuits those
Who are free, unrestrained.
These flames are the executioners
To those of you who belong in chains.

This burning, contained destruction;
This new, independent creation;
This glorious feeling of restriction of life,
Smoke rising into this star-filled night.

Flames still dancing,
Entertaining and strong,
The consuming fire, the warm touch it possesses,
All these things are my own traits, too.
My hypnotizing obsession.
