She was born on December 21st, 1951
She died on April 21st, 1954
The epitaph reads �¢??Asleep in Jesus�¢?? Arms�¢??
I assume the symbols are typical of those found on a child�¢??s marker: a lamb lying down,
and a child in pajamas kneeling at prayer.
So long ago did she pass, so young.
Maybe a troubled heart at birth,
or problems with her lungs.
A bouquet of fresh flowers from a recent visitor
fills the vase of the marker.
I imagine myself a mother,
with a child to die too soon.
I guess you are never really dead,
until everyone has forgotten you.
