The TV special is a rerun
of last years most popular scary movie.
The channel that always plays the Christmas specials
and all the other holiday specials there are.
The outdoors and the lawns of every neighborhood,
play host to the cities adolescent witches, and ghosts,
and even small pumpkins with feet, all running a muck!
Bags of candy, even pillow cases filled to the top,
with prescriptions to promote more trips to the dentist,
and more drugs for the hyper disorders,
those that dont even exist.
Meanwhile, I contribute to the temporary happiness
of the young ghouls and goblins of the streets.
All they have to say is Trick-or-Treat
I hand them a palm full of cavities,
And I say Happy Halloween.
