I went to the party mom
Even though you said i shouldn't
I tell you how much it means to me
So you say okay have a good time
Just please dont drink and drive
I nodded and went off
I get to the party
And some friends offer me some alcohol
I say no ill have a coke instead
Party ends so i call you on my cell phone saying
*Its half past twelve mom im on my way home*
Then i hang up the phone
Now im driving 55
And a drunk driver hits me
Now im lying in my own blood
I hear the people talking mom
But they sound so far away
And im so scared mom
Is this what i get when i dont drink and drive
I can hear the paramedics now mom
they are saying this girls going to die
