    You really capture the essence of 'daydreaming' here. I like the type of words that you've used, because they are different to what I normally read. I don't think you needed to add rhyme in here because the poem flows fluidly without it. That being said the rhyme does not detract from it because it sounds natural and not forced. This was a really 'dreamy' read, very picturesque :)

    I seldom have time for daydreaming, but as I read your poem it created the relaxed calm feeling I have when daydreaming, it was a very cool effect. Some times we all just need to stop and have a little "me" time. Great poem.

    Wow! that was beautifully written! i love this bit best!

    Each life has a path
    Each day has a place
    Each smile brings in joy
    Across a longing face
    And through and through life
    I flow like a stream
    Tranquil in my mind
    Thus...a wonderous dream

    itz just so beautiful! with GREAT imagery!

    I loved your profile where it said.."don`t cry for someone who wouldn`t cry for you"..that my dear was brilliant! About this poem, it was really fantastic, my fave line was "Time seemed to drift on its wandering feet"..I loved this poem very much, keep up the excellent work. Timothy r

    "The silence of the air
    Soothes my tender ear
    Brings gleeful tidings
    Almost too much to bare"
    This stanza has a different rhyme scheme compared to the other quatrains. The others are ABCB and this one is ABCA. bare rhymes with air, not ear, if i'm not mistaken.
    ~~~
    "And my dreams play a game
    Of advance and retreat"
    I thought this was a really creative line, and it sounded great.
    I really enjoyed the repitition of the 'Each' phrases in the last stanza, and thought the poem ended very well. The rhyme scheme was very unobtrusive.
