Her

by Wolfe   May 5, 2006

Every night, the same thing
yelling, fighting, screaming...pain
I lay on the floor
Struggling to get up
I hear the phone ring
whispered voices
The phone crashes against the wall
Footsteps...She's here again
I crawl to the corner
and try to hide from the evil
within Her soul
She yells at me,
hits me over and over again
Everything is always MY fault.
Her job sucks
I pay with pain
Her husband yells
I pay with pain
Her life isnt perfect
I pay with pain
She finally leaves
The whole room shakes
as She slams the door
In the corner, i still sit
Tears streaming down my face
I gasp as i
Sit up suddenly in my bed
I'm covered in sweat
and crying
I lay back down
Careful not to make a noise
I might wake
Her
